Job Description
PhysioFirst Physiotherapy is looking for a motivated Kinesiologist to help patients improve strength, mobility, functional movement, and physical conditioning through individualized exercise programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct movement and functional assessments within professional scope.
- Develop personalized exercise and active rehabilitation programs.
- Guide patients through strengthening, mobility, and balance exercises.
- Support appropriate recovery following injuries and physical limitations.
- Monitor progress and adjust exercise programs.
- Educate patients about safe exercise techniques.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or a related discipline.
- Practising membership or registration with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) preferred.
- Knowledge of exercise prescription and rehabilitation principles.
- Strong communication and motivational skills.
- Experience with ICBC active rehabilitation is an asset.
